Profession Career Day

On the day of the event, all girls are required to arrive in professional attire. Notebook and writing utensils will be provided. There will be profession women there to discuss their careers and share knowledge about their field. Every profession will have a separate table and section. At each table all guests are free to display any items or information (cards, pamphlets, handouts). A visual decorated sign (i.e. Doctor, Nurse, Lawyer, Entrepreneur) will be posted at your table to inform the girls of what table they are coming to. Although there are many girls that have their mind made up about their career of choice, there are also many girls that are undecided and/or totally clueless about who or what they want to be in life. This is why career day will be the perfect opportunity for them to learn what they could possibly get out of life with examples standing right in front of them. The stations will constantly rotate, ending with a resume workshop station, which will help each girl formulate a resume no matter how old they are (it will be required). The vision for all girls is to develop into extraordinary women who understand and know their potential. 

The event is from 12pm-3pm. Introductions will start promptly at 12:15pm, and the workshop rotation will begin approximately at 1pm. We are llooking forward to seeing you there.
