MGWG 2nd Annual PROFESSIONAL CAREER DAY

On the day of the event, all girls are required to arrive in professional attire. Notebook and writing utensils will be provided. There will be women of multiple professions there to discuss their careers and share knowledge about their field. We will begin with open introductions and panel discussion. Every profession will have a separate table and section. A visual decorated sign (i.e. Doctor, Nurse, Lawyer, Entrepreneur) will be posted at your table to inform the girls of what table they are coming to. Although there are many girls that have their mind made up about their career of choice, there are also many girls that are undecided and/or totally clueless about who or what they want to be in life. This is why career day will be the perfect opportunity for them to learn what they could possibly get out of life with examples standing right in front of them. The stations will constantly rotate, ending with a resume workshop station, which will help each girl formulate a resume no matter how old they are. The vision for all girls is to develop into extraordinary women who understand and know their potential.

The event is from 12pm-3pm. Introductions will start promptly at 12:15pm, so please be on time. This is the first event of 2022… PLEASE NOTE that this is a MANDATORY event for existing members of MGWG. If this event is missed, you will not be invited to attend upcoming events for the remainder of the year. We will only cater to girls and parents/guardians that are dedicated to academic, mental, emotional and overall improvement moving forward. We will no longer tolerate individuals registering for events and calling or not showing up. If you are new and want to join for the first time, you are WELCOME! This event is for all girls ages 7-24 years old💕
